I finally finished my first painting in my new robot series. I started by doing a plexiglass etching, and after I finished, the plate was so cool looking, I decide to paint it. Some paint is on the front, and some is on the back, giving it a bit of depth. I also glued some beads and wire and computer bits and chain to the top. I cut apart an old motherboard and created some street art inspired text in the back. You probably can't read it but it says "corrupt system". It's kind of a silly piece but it was fun to make and I think I've been taking myself way too seriously as of late, so I'm looking forward to making more of these robots gone amok.

That is one awesome robot Mrs. Dean. How big is the piece?

It's 8 x 10". Pretty small, for me anyway. I'm working on lots of small things now. I'm making a 3D sculptural robot from wood and spare parts. :)
